Suposiciones aparte

🇬🇧Making assumptions is a nasty habit. When we want to communicate something, we can only hope that our listener interpret our message as we had intended them to, that he or she does not begin to make assumptions – ‘although she said that, what she really meant was something else’. We said exactly what we said.
People mean what they say, and it does not mean anything else, so let’s stop making assumptions. We also have the unfortunate tendency to make wrong assumptions, which means our assumptions often bring about conflicts, problems and distress. Let’s stop assuming – what was meant was exactly what was said.
